Dear Applicants,

As of 1 March 2026, the Consular Section of the Embassy will be active for online appointments. You may take an appointment from www.konsolosluk.gov.tr for your requests such as power of attorney, citizenship application or attestation of signature/seal. Please note that the Embassy only accepts cash and all applicants are encouraged to have sufficient amount of cash on their appointment date for consular fees.

For visa requests, please visit https://www.mfa.gov.tr/visa-information-for-foreigners.en.mfa to find out whether you are qualified for visa-free travel, e-visa or sticker visa. You may visit www.visa.gov.tr for sticker visa applications.

South African ordinary passport holders can issue an e-visa through www.evisa.gov.tr (the applicants will be automatically redirected to www.dtvgroup.com.tr) Please beware of scam websites that claim to be the official e-visa website. Kindly bear in mind that all applicants are required to issue a mandatory travel insurance through the above-mentioned website to be able to finalize their e-visa process. Insurance fees are applicable.
