We commemorate the late Rauf Raif Denktaş, the founding President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with respect and gratitude on the ninth anniversary of his passing away.

The late Rauf Denktas defended the cause of the Turkish Cypriot people for their rights, equality and liberty with wisdom and devotion in close unity of ideals and sentiments with Motherland Turkey. Having shown an outstanding leadership in overcoming every kind of difficulties along this process, Rauf Denktaş, as a defender of one of the most righteous cause of our age, will always retain his exceptional place in our hearts and in history.

Pursuing our common national cause, inspired by late Rauf Denktaş, in solidarity with the Turkish Cypriot people, we once again commemorate the late Denktaş with respect.
