We condemn the endorsement of the draft law by Israeli Parliament, which authorizes the Israeli Interior Minister to revoke permanent residence permits of people who are found to be involved in terrorist acts or committed acts breaching the security of State of Israel.

Residence permits of thousands of Palestinians have been cancelled since the occupation of East Jerusalem in 1967. We reject the illegitimate step taken by Israel revealing the intention to increase the efforts to change the demographics of East Jerusalem by ignoring very fundamental human rights of Palestinians.
