We welcome the formation of the new Lebanese government as a result of the consultations conducted by Prime Minister Saad Hariri with all political parties in Lebanon. On this occasion, we congratulate the friendly and brotherly people of Lebanon and wish the new government all the best.

The political process in Lebanon which started with the election of the 13th President has been carried even further with the formation of the new government based on an inclusive approach. This development constitutes an important milestone in terms of ensuring Lebanon’s sovereignty, security and stability.

It is our sincere hope that the understanding of reconciliation and inclusiveness which has prevailed over the recent internal political developments in Lebanon will continue with the new government’s policies.
