The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Al-Quds Al-Sharif of which Turkey is a member, shall have an emergency meeting on 12 November in Rabat hosted by Morocco, upon Israel’s recent intensification of its violations against Jerusalem and Haram Al-Sharif and the entry of Israeli security forces into Al-Aqsa Mosque on 5 November.

Apart from Turkey; Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Guinea, Malaysia, Azerbaijan and the OIC Secretary General are represented in the Contact Group, established at ministerial level on the cause of Palestine and the issues related to Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque.

Turkey will be represented at the meeting by a delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş.

An Action Plan on the Palestinian issue, Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque will be adopted at the meeting.
