Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu will participate in the 17th Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement to be held in Algiers on 28-29 May 2014 upon the invitation of Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Ramtane Lamamra.

The Non-Aligned Movement, bringing together various countries from every region of the world, is also representing and implementing at the global level the "effective multilateralism" principle, a principle that Turkey highly values.

In line with the importance that we attach to the Non-Aligned Movement, Turkey has been attending the high level meetings of the Movement as a "Guest Country" in recent years.

Foreign Minister Davutoğlu will hold meetings with his counterparts during the Ministerial Conference where a great number of countries will be represented at the level of Foreign Ministers and discuss bilateral and regional issues.
